“When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier.” – Roy E Disney
A person’s integrity depends on his core set of values. Values like compassion, generosity, honesty, kindness, integrity, politeness, perseverance, self-control and respect are best inculcated during childhood. Passing on values to the children is a joint responsibility of both the parents and the teachers.
A workshop was conducted on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 on SAI Samskara for the teachers of Classes IV to VIII. The objective of the workshop was to find out various methods on how to effectively teach moral values to students. The participants shared their classroom experiences in a highly interactive workshop facilitated by Ms. Binati Mishra.
A vivid discussion was conducted on the changing behavioural pattern of children in the present day. The participants suggested various ways on how teachers can contribute in shaping our students’ Samskara. Transforming one child can be considered as a reward for a teacher. Motivating videos were shown to inspire the participating teachers.
Moral values guide children throughout their lives. It helps children to have peace within themselves and inspires them to contribute towards the society.
