A workshop on effective teaching strategies in English was conducted for the English Teachers from Classes IV to X at SAI International School.The objective of the workshop was to inculcate in the participants the best teaching approaches in English. The facilitator was Ms. Swati Srilekha.

The workshop aimed at involving the inattentive, lost, slow learners and attention deficit students through various innovative teaching approaches. It involved the creative and tested practices that are used to address such students. The methods included roleplay, grammar tree, word web, real life experiences, peer interaction etc.

For a teacher, teaching does not stop from the walls of the classroom, the process continues much beyond it. All the students in the classroom do not have the same level of understanding and so adhering to a particular strategy is never effective. It is the role of the teacher to understand the requirements of individual student and accordingly impart education.
