The most awaited Leadership Camp, SAI Netritva 2022 is back with a bang, after almost 2 years of pandemic! The adventure camp hosted by SAI International commenced on October 14, 2022, catering new adventure & newer leadership skills to learn from, for the SAIoneers of Classes I-XII. This year, the overnight camp aims to assist young aspiring leaders from different class groups to challenge their thinking, set personal and school goals together and reflect on their own personal growth and development, further instilling within them an attitude of sportsmanship & fostering teamwork amidst peers.

SAI Netritva, the brainchild of Founder-Chairman, SAI International Education Group, it is the annual leadership programme to build a better India with great leaders. Dr. Sahoo was a stalwart believer of the fact that the right kind of leadership aids in unifying a noteworthy purpose. Emergence of purposeful leadership not only amalgamates ideas & efforts but galvanizes many to achieve goals. He often stressed upon how nurturing leadership combined with the passion of innovation is somewhat primary to our very functioning. When efforts are pursued with unstinted zeal, practices help habits & beliefs change for the better, creating a generation to face the challenges of the world with unmatched perfection.
Aligning the activities with the 21st century skills, SAI Netritva Camp curriculum includes an array of content, like classroom lectures, sessions on outdoor activities, physical training, communication skills and lessons on values to groom students to become the best of individuals. The students are trained on different skills and the overall objective to build up their leadership qualities, team management, inter-dependence, discipline, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. It is customized in accordance with the age group of students. It includes the four important leadership skills like, Adventure, Leadership, Soft, Social, and Creative.
One of the most significant components of the camp program is the development of Adventure skills, where students get to learn various survival and life skills that help to remove fear from their minds and encourage them to face challenges with confidence. The curriculum is designed to engage the students actively in mentally and physically challenging tasks to provide them a healthy risk-taking experience. The camp site is filled with many exciting activities, starting from self-cooking in the woods, to making rafts to cross the water body to rappling and many more. Students actively take part in the entire process of cooking like collecting woods.
The other activities include Flying Fox, Rappelling, Jumaring, Kayaking, Rafting, Commando Obstacles, Free Fall, Slingshot, Zorbing and much more creative tasks like pottery, gardening, painting & drama. Students work both independently and as a team to complete the given assignments. The activities teach the students survival skills which are techniques that a person may use to sustain life in any type of natural environment or managing disaster situations.
SAI Netritva Camp 2022 will certainly inculcate the qualities of a true leadership within each student and make them aware and confident global learners. This learning opportunity has immensely inspired children to go beyond themselves and probe into the deeper realms of life in an environment outside school and evolve as an empathetic leader imbibed with 21st century skills.
