This week’s meeting between the Going Global Club of SAI International School and Jr. Sr. High School of Kogakuin University, Japan took place on January 22,2021,was unique and was conducted with deep conviction and thought. Parents should bring up their kids with a certain amount of  knowledge on how to combat mental health issues and schools should teach life skills to cope with difficult situations.The students from both schools proactively also came up with a few concrete solutions to be able address  mental health concerns  in teenagers. The topic was Mental Illness and Suicide and it was a focal point of discussion. Sarah, a student from Japan is currently as part of her research project working on the topic of Mental Illness and Suicide.
