As part of the broader vision of SAIMUN 2025, a deeply meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative unfolded on 25th July 2025 at Jewels International (Chetana Institute for the Mentally Challenged), Bhubaneswar. The event brought together 38 international delegates and 20 members from SAI International School’s Interact Club and Going Global Club, united by a common goal to spread joy, build bridges of compassion, and engage in purposeful community service.
The session was a celebration of shared humanity. Delegates and students joyfully interacted with the children at the institute, guiding them through a fun-filled palm-print activity where vibrant hand imprints were made on a wall-mounted sheet, a collective symbol of hope, inclusion, and togetherness. The room echoed with laughter as the children participated in an exciting balloon-bursting game, sharing uninhibited smiles and heartfelt moments with their guests.
The visit was more than just an act of service; it was an opportunity to connect across cultures, learn through empathy, and reflect on the true essence of leadership. For the international delegates, it offered a memorable cultural and emotional exchange, capturing moments of happiness, mutual respect, and global solidarity.
This initiative stood as a testament to SAIMUN’s core philosophy, promoting global citizenship, service-driven leadership, and the belief that compassion knows no boundaries. It reinforced the idea that in every act of kindness, a bridge is built connecting hearts, cultures, and generations.
