Students of SAI International School have earned several laurels in the CBSE Inter-School Far East Swimming Championship 2019, held at Sanskar International School, Bargarh, Odisha from September 30 to October 3, 2019. Students from 133 Schools from places like Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Odisha had participated in the event.
In the Individual category Mannata Mishra of Class VII won the 1st position in the 50-meter Breast Stroke, in the Under -19 category. Divyanka Pradhan of Class VIII won the 2nd position both in 400-meter Free Style and 200-meter Individual Medley also in the Under-19 category.
In the Medley Relay, the Under-19 Girls team comprising of Orissa Lee Patnaik, Class X, Manmayi Mohapatra, Class XI, Mannata Mishra, Class VII, Divyanka Pradhan, Class VIII won the 1st prize.
The 4-member, Under-19 Boys team won the 2nd prize in the Medley Relay. The team includes Harsh Vardhan Hinduar& Dev Agarwal of Class XI and Ayush Badu &Yajat Gupta of Class VII.
The Under-11 both Girls and Boys team won the 3rd place each in Medley Relay. The Girls team member are Eva Chako, Ipsita Nanda and Rithika Sahoo of Class IV as well as Kashvi Gupta and Ayaana Sahu of Class V. The Boys team includes Shlok Mohanty of Class IV, and Vaibhav Summan, Shreyansh Patra, Aarav Kedia, Madhav Gupta of Class V.
