STUDENTS OF SAI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL QUALIFY FOR KVPY

Twelve students of SAI International School have qualified for the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), a scholarship funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and administered by Indian Institute of Science (IISC). The meritorious students, Sibasis Nayak, Sayantan Dhir, Pratik Choudhary, Gyana Prakash Beria, Sreyas Mohanty, Anurag Patra, P.Subham, Priyam Nayak, Santak Panda, Pratyush Parichha, Sameer Patro and Ashwini Kumar Acharya are now entitled to bag a seat in reputed National level Institutes like IISC, IISER, NISER etc. They are also eligible to receive scholarship by the GOI till completion of their higher studies.

The coveted Scholarship gives them an edge over other students for getting admissions or securing a job in a foreign country apart from having an excellent opportunity to undertake a research project every year under the guidance of a scientist or scholar and taking part in Vijyoshi camps, where they can interact with great scholars, researchers and scientists. KVPY aims to identify exceptionally talented and highly motivated students, encourage them to take up research careers in Science and ensure the growth of the best scientific minds for research and development in the country.
