On the 21st of August 2023, the vibrant campus of SAI International School was abuzz with enthusiasm as the school celebrated 'World Entrepreneurs' Day'. This significant occasion, marked by innovation and ingenuity, was hosted in collaboration with Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC), an initiative stemming from the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, and partnered with FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter.

Named 'Spark-O-thon', the event aimed to kindle the sparks of innovation and entrepreneurship within the young minds of the future. Dr. Aanchal, representing BCKIC, and Ms. Tamanna from KIIT TBI, took the podium to address the gathering of students from Class XI and XII in the Commerce and Humanities streams. The event proved to be a platform for the students to showcase their inventive ideas, and thirteen participants put forth their innovative visions.

Guided by the discerning eyes of nine judges hailing from BCKIC and FICCI, three exceptional ideas emerged victorious. Jahnobi Das from XII-J (Commerce) secured the first prize, followed by Shlok Bhogila from XII-K (Commerce) who earned the second prize, and Shruti Mohapatra from XII-O (Humanities) claiming the third prize. The winners were felicitated on this occasion. This celebration of innovation not only honoured the spirit of entrepreneurship but also demonstrated the promising potential of the next generation of visionaries.
