We are thrilled to announce that SAIoneers Shrestha Roy of Class IX and Aradhya Pattnaik of Class III have successfully ushered noteworthy accolades for the school. SAIoneer Shrestha Roy has bagged the 1st Position (Senior Category) and SAIoneer Aradhya Pattnaik has bagged the 3rd Position (Sub-Junior Category) in the Painting Competition organised by Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar on June 2, 2022.
At SAI, we encourage students to actively participate in anything to do with Art, for it is versatile. Not only can it help us in terms of more complex emotional and mental challenges and enhance our well-being, but it can also simply add beauty to our lives. Art helps with adequate development in terms of learning and understanding difficult concepts, as it accesses different parts of the human brain. It allows students to problem-solve as well as make more complex concepts easier to understand by providing a visual format instead of just words or numbers. Thereby, we believe, arts should be integrated with all subjects and used as an approach for teaching and learning of different concepts. This will help children freely express their ideas and emotions. They will also develop all the senses through keen observation, curious exploration and spontaneous expression.
