SAIoneers excel in State Swimming Championship

Students of SAI International School have earned laurels for their excellent performance in the 60th State Swimming Championship. The 2-day event was held at Biju Patnaik Swimming Complex, Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar on June 1 and 2, 2019.
A total of 21 students from SAI International School were selected to participate in the state level competition in different categories. The talented students bagged 8 Gold Medals, 14 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
The Gold Medal was won by Mannata Mishra (Gr-II) in events like 100 mtr Breast Stroke, 100 mtr Butterfly, 50 mtr Breast Stroke, 50 mtr Butterfly, 200 mtr Individual Medley, DivyankaDivyajyoti Pradhan (Gr II) in 100 and 200 mtr Free Style and Kashvi Gupta (Gr-IV) 50 in mtr Back Stoke.
SAIoneers who won the Silver Medal include Orissa Lee Patnaik (Gr-1 – 100 and 50 mtr Back Stroke), Kashvi Gupta (Gr-IV- 100 mtr Free Style, 50 mtr Breast Stroke, 50 mtr Free Style and 50 mtr Butter Fly), Divyanka (Gr-II 50 mtr Back Stroke, 100 and 200 mtr Free Style), Mannata (Gr-II- 50, 100 and 200 mtr Breast Stroke Ayana won Silver Medal in 50 mtr Butterfly Stroke and Aadya won Bronze Medal in 100 mtr Breast Stroke.
The event saw participation from Swimmers across the State. It was organised by Odisha state swimming association and Sports & Youth Services department
