A Carnival-on Road was jointly organized by Odisha Tourism Department and Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) in Bhubaneswar on Sunday, September 27, 2015, to mark World Tourism Day in which SAI International School participated. The colourful extravaganza consisted of nine thematic floats – world tourism, Odisha tourism, culture, wildlife, tribal, handicrafts, dance forms, and so on and travelled from the Master Canteen Square to Rupali Square.

The carnival was flagged off by Governor Dr. S.C Jamir, who graced the occasion to support and encourage the students. He admired the efforts of the students for promoting the Tourism Community in Odisha.

A Tableaux showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the state, was presented by the SAIoneers. They made an attempt to sensitize the crowd of the city and the delegates from overseas regarding the tourism scopes and tourist spots of Odisha through their various cultural performances. The students presented a dance performance on the very famous Odia song ‘Rangabati’. The melodious music played by the SAI Band kept the viewers thrilled and the live painting by a student mesmerized the entire crowd. The carnival also witnessed participation of students in a large number from different schools and colleges of the city.
