The Going Global Club students celebrated International Youth Day with great enthusiasm and zeal at Esplanade Mall yesterday 30 August, 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about the pressing issue of drug abuse among young people.

The celebration kicked off with a powerful band performance and set the tone for the day. The gripping skit performed by the students, highlighting the dangers of drug abuse and its impact on youth. The audience was then treated to energetic dance  performances, which kept them engaged and entertained.

To further drive home the message, a quiz was organized for the audience, testing their knowledge about Youth Day and its importance. The event saw a huge turnout, with many youngsters participating enthusiastically.

The Going Global Club's initiative was praised by all who attended, with many appreciating the effort to address a critical issue affecting today's youth. The event concluded with a call to action, urging young people to make informed choices.

"Courage to Choose- Standing up against drug abuse" was the motto of the day, and the Going Global Club students truly embodied it with their passion and dedication.
