On July 1, 2024, the morning assembly for Classes VI-VIII began on a euphoric note, celebrating India's spectacular victory in the ICC World Cup. Excited SAIoneers of Class VIII hosted the assembly, sharing inspiring thoughts and the latest news, highlighting the triumph of the Men in Blue. They emphasized Habit 4: Think Win-Win and Habit 3: Put First Things First, drawing inspiration from compassionate leaders like Mother Teresa and Utkalmani Gopabandhu Das. The assembly concluded with an enchanting rendition themed on kindness and empathy.

Reflecting on the World Cup, the students shared ten valuable lessons they learned from the tournament. They highlighted that class is permanent, even if it doesn’t work a few times, as shown by Virat Kohli's peak performance at the right time. They admired Rohit Sharma's leadership, noting that when a leader leads from the front and occasionally fails, the entire team comes together to cover up. The students were inspired by the team’s resilience, realizing that it’s not over till you think it’s over, as demonstrated by India's persistence even after South Africa needed 30 off 30. They applauded Hardik Pandya's comeback from unimaginable lows, emphasizing that you can bounce back even if the entire world is against you. The importance of hard work and humility, personified by Rahul Dravid, was a significant takeaway, along with the value of consistency, as seen in Jasprit Bumrah's performance. They were motivated by Rishabh Pant's sheer will and determination to get back up when it seemed impossible. The students recognized the significance of making a strong comeback after losses at a big stage, exemplified by the Indian team’s journey from the T50 World Cup to winning the T20 World Cup. They also learned that nothing is above teamwork, with every individual’s contribution being crucial, and appreciated how sometimes the smallest contributions, like Suryakumar Yadav's catch, can be the biggest in the game or life.
