We are thrilled to announce that SAIoneer A.R. Devansh accomplished Gold in 100m inline, Silver in Elimination Event & Bronze in Road Inline Segment in the ‘Under 12’ Category in the 21st National Speed Skating Championship-2022 organized by Speed Skating Federation of India (SSFI) on March 5-6, 2022 at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
He further represented Odisha in the Roller Speed Skating Championship held at Somaiya Speedskating Track in Mumbai on April 16 & 17, 2022 in partnership with Apple Skates India and successfully secured Gold in 1000m ,500m, & 200 m Rink Race under Speed Inline.
Roller sport is transcending as a popular recreational sport in India, especially roller skating for children, and it is eventually turning into a competitive sport. The opportunities & exposure of children has also increased in terms of this sport.
