SAIoneer Sameer Patro with a total score of 671 emerged as the State Topper in CBSE’s National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2018. He also holds the All India Rank (AIR) 30 in the entrance test held for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Medical colleges across the country.

Sameer is the son of Shri Sanjay Kumar Patro, a Businessman and Smt. Sasmita Patro, a School Teacher in Rayagada district of Odisha. He looks forward to pursue his studies in the highly prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at New Delhi.

The meritorious student has also qualified for the JEE Advanced 2018 along with qualifying for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) and being selected for the 2nd stage of National Talent Search Examination (NTSE), 2018. In AISSCE 2018, he scored 96.6% to become the 3rd Topper in School. Apart from studies, Sameer actively participated in various quiz competitions and won several medals.

The brilliant student, Sameer, believes in hard work and used to study for 10 to 12 hours daily since the last two years. His greatest inspiration are his parents and he also gives credit to the Chairman, Principal, Vice Principal and his teachers who regularly counselled him and inspired him to reach the zenith of success.
