Inspired by Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, this transformative model equips learners with essential life skills that strengthen character, instil responsibility, and build lasting self-confidence. At SAI International School, the programme seamlessly aligns with the school ethos, fostering a culture where leadership is shared and lived every day.
SAI Utkarsh: A Leadership Odyssey, a dynamic initiative under the Leader in Me framework, was hosted with distinction by the Grade VIII students. The event stood as a vibrant celebration of student leadership, thoughtfully presented through LIM profile folders and engaging demonstrations of discipline, creativity, and focus across sports, music, art and craft, coding, and gamified learning.
As a student-led initiative, the programme highlighted leadership through meaningful subject integration, empathy-driven role plays that showcased small acts of kindness, and authentic connections with initiatives such as Mindspark, the Young Scientist programme, and the Sustainable Development Goals. These experiences reflected how leadership can be practised, experienced, and internalised beyond academic learning.
The initiative earned widespread appreciation from parents, guests, and dignitaries, who were deeply impressed by the students’ enthusiasm, sense of purpose, and commitment.
