SAI International School won the highly prestigious ‘Emerging School of The Year Award’ in recognition to its contribution in transforming education delivery and bringing an enhancement in learning outcomes, hence making a profound impact on the present education system.

Prince Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar of Udaipur and Shri Sonam Wangchuk, Founder SECMOL and HIAL, presented the citation to Dr.Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder SAI International Education Group and Dr. Silpi Sahoo, Vice Chairperson, SAI International Education Group at the Global Education Awards 2019, held at Udaipur on Saturday, August 10, 2019.

The Award recognises outstanding contributions made by individuals and organisations involved directly or indirectly in education through pioneering practices and use of innovation and technology to enrich the lives of learners everywhere.

Dr. Sahoo was also invited to deliver his talk at the Global Educators Fest held on Friday, August 9, 2019 at Udaipur. He spoke on the topic, ‘Encouraging creativity in the classroom and making children lifelong learners’, which highlighted on how to create a student-centric creative learning classroom environment.

Others who spoke includes Shri Anand Kumar, Super 30, Shri Ratnesh Kumar Jha, Managing Director, South Asia-Cambridge University Press, Mr. Matthew Raggett, Headmaster Doon School, Mr. Sean Slade, Director, ASCD, USA. Around 500 educators from across the globe brainstormed for two days on creating life-long learners ready for 21st century.
