Students of SAI International School have once again made the school proud with their brilliant performance in the CBSE All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), 2020, the result of which was declared on Monday, July 13, 2020. SAIoneers have been creating new benchmarks in academics every year whereby elevating the level of excellence of the school. Consistently the School has achieved 100 first division since its 1st batch of students appeared the Class XII Board examination, this unbroken saga of success continues even in 2020.
Creating yet another record of excellence, Sanskriti Pattnaik scored 99.4% in best of five subjects and 98.8% in English and best of four subjects to become the State Topper in Humanities. Adding to our joy, Richa Roy Choudhury of Commerce stream scored 98.6% both in best of five subjects as well as in English and best of four subjects to bag the position of State Topper in Commerce. Similarly Ashutosh Panigrahy became the 2nd State Topper in Science with a score of 98.6% in best of five subjects and 98.4% in English and best of four subjects.
At SAI International School, in Humanities stream, the 2nd position is bagged by Rhea Mehera with 98% and the 3rd position by Tanya Agarwal with 97.4%. In Commerce stream, Anushka and Saloni Patnaik jointly bagged the 2nd place with 98.2% and Arpita Das with 97.8% bagged the 3rd place. In Science stream, Jigyasha Sharma got the 2nd place with 98.2% and Sohan Paikray the 3rd place with 98%.
This year as many as 552 students had appeared for the examination, out of which 98% of students secured more than 75% of marks and 61.1% of students secured more than 90% which is an achievement in itself. As the saga of success continues, this year the School average is 90.1, which is a great leap from the last year’s average of 86.8%. While the School average in Science is 90.9%, that of Commerce is 89.1% and Humanities is 89%.
The outstanding result of the students gave us a reason to rejoice amidst the devastating COVID 19 times, as our journey of excellence continues at SAI International School. The result this year adds another milestone in the success story of the school.
The ongoing pandemic did not subdue the celebration of the SAI International family. The merriment continued in each household, as appreciation mails and congratulatory phone call poured in. Founder and Mentor SAI International Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo heaped praises on the students for their dedication, determination, devotion and their commendable patience while awaiting for the results. He also congratulated and thanked CBSE for ending the mental stress of more than 12 lakh students who appeared for their Class XII board examinations.
