Budding athletes in and around Bhubaneswar indulged in the SAI Open Sports Summer Camp 2023 being conducted from May 6-14, 2023 at Bijoy Indoor Stadium. Led by experienced coaches and instructors, providing training and guidance to these young athletes aged 4-14 years old, improve their performance, in a diverse gamut of sports like swimming, basketball, badminton, squash, table tennis & skating. This multi-sports workshop proferring both beginner & advanced skill sets in aforementioned sports, aims to foster sports education & embed the core values of sports coupled with the overall development of children's wellbeing.

Founder Chairman, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo believed sports education to be an important aspect of learning & emphasized on a 360-degree holistic approach to function on an ethos which works towards the balanced development of the body, mind and soul.

This camp has been a great opportunity for young budding athletes to improve their sporting skills in a supportive and structured environment, while also staying active and healthy during the summer months. It has also been instrumental in imbibing amidst them all, the essential 21st century skills;and, fostering new friendships in an athletic space, while serving as a get-away from their routine class schedules. The Camp ended with a Valedictory Ceremony on May 14, 2023, where all participants were felicitated for their dedication & zeal to strive in their favourite sport.

I hope that this camp has taught you all valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, assertiveness & dynamic leadership. Remember that the lessons you have learned here on the field are just as important as those you will learn in the classrooms!”, said Shri Nilakantha Panigrahi, Director Academics & Sr. Principal, SAI International School, while addressing the participants during the Valedictory.
