The SAI Decadal Lecture Series commenced with a talk delivered by Shri Upendra Nath Behera, IAS, Chairman, Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission. Shri Behera in his address explained the importance of education in the life of a person and in the life of a nation. He gave the students a detailed account of the country’s prosperity related to education by sharing the historical facts.

Shri Behera also recalled his memories in the making of SAI International from conception to reality as well as his association with Chairman Dr. B.K.Sahoo for the past 30 years. Addressing the students, Shri Behera shared that, he takes pride to see SAI earn a name for itself in the Nation and the innumerable achievement of its students in various spheres both at National and International level.

He added that the quality of an educational Institution is dependent on the quality of its students and faculty and SAI International School has the best possible students, best faculty and the best infrastructure, which makes it a unique educational institution. He congratulated Dr. Sahoo and the entire SAI team for making SAI a Centre of Excellence in the state. He concluded by applauding everyone for their meritorious work and wished them to continue the fervor for excelling.

The SAI Lecture Series is part of the Decadal celebration of SAI international School, which will continue throughout the year. On the occasion Shri Behera also unveiled the Decadal calendar.
