An Intriguing Career Talk with Ahmedabad University was conducted for Class XII SAIoneers on Monday, April 18, 2022. 150 students from various streams of Science, Commerce and Humanities attended this interactive session. Our guest Speaker was Ms. Pooja Kaur, an education enthusiast with considerable expertise in career counselling and college/university selection guidance. She currently manages outreach and admissions for Ahmedabad University in the eastern part of India and is the go-to person for undergraduate admissions at the aforementioned university. Students were briefed on various programmes available such as BA, BBA, BCom, BCom Professional (Hons), BS (Hons), Integrated MBA, Integrated MS, BTech, BBA etc. during this interactive session.

Ms. Pooja further guided students about imperative factors to consider such as the college application process, financial aid, picking up major and minor subjects and learning to connect multidisciplinary knowledge and real-life experiences to develop a better understanding of issues, its analysis, and decision making around them. This was indeed quite a thought-provoking session for the SAIoneers.
