Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a dynamic subject in the changing industrial and social scenario aims to ensure that companies conduct themselves in a way that is ethical. This means taking account of their social, economic and environmental impact, and consideration of human rights. Many leading industrial houses, social organizations and individuals are putting various efforts and doing innovations in the domain. At SAI International School, we have policies and procedures which integrate social, environmental, ethical, human rights or consumer concerns into the core strategy.

In order to deliberate on how CSR activities can be integrated with the business strategies and positively impact both organizational and economic growth & development, OdishaLIVE organized ‘Odisha CSR Summit’ on April 12, 2016 at Bhubaneswar. Looking into the contemporary need, the organizers had chosen ‘CSR and Inclusive Growth’ as the key agenda of ‘Odisha CSR Summit 2016’.

Best CSR Practices Awards was the major attraction of the event. Different business organizations and CSR initiators were felicitated at the event for their innovations and extra ordinary contributions to the field. SAI International School bagged the ‘Innovative CSR Practices in Education’ Award.

Philanthropy is a quiet but a huge part of our chairman Dr Bijoy Kumar Sahoo’s entrepreneurial life. He is actively involved in a number of CSR activities and believes that it is in giving to others that makes a man truly rich and happy. SAI International contributes generously to the Prime Minister’s and Chief Minster’s relief fund during natural calamities. The school even extends its services to Shri Harsha Memorial School for the Deaf, Asha Ashwasana and many slum schools across the state of Odisha
