As part of the ongoing JGU Knowledge Series, SAI International School hosted a thought-provoking Career Talk by O.P. Jindal Global University on 1 July 2025, designed to help students make informed and confident decisions about their future career paths.

The session was attended by SAIoneers, who actively engaged in exploring the changing landscape of global education and the importance of interdisciplinary learning. The session was led by Prof. (Dr.) Nisha Nair, Vice Dean, Office of Admissions and Outreach, and Professor at Jindal Global Law School, along with Ms. Tanima Banerjee, Manager, Outreach and Admissions.

Titled “Beyond Boundaries: Career Choice – A Major Decision & Interdisciplinary Career Pathways”, the talk shed light on the critical role of choosing the right career fit over traditional prestige and highlighted the increasing demand for hybrid skill sets in today’s interconnected world.

Students were encouraged to view career development as a flexible and evolving journey, where exploration and adaptability are key. The speakers emphasized that interdisciplinary education offers the tools to thrive in diverse fields, breaking away from rigid academic silos.

The session served as a valuable platform for students to reflect on their aspirations, equipping them with knowledge and clarity to make empowered choices. It aligned seamlessly with SIS’s mission of preparing students to become well-rounded, future-ready individuals capable of leading in a dynamic global environment.
