by SAI Admin

15 June, 2020

The riveting 14-day e-Summer Camp of SAI International came to a scintillating closure on Sunday, June 14, 2020. The winner of India’s Got Talent, Prince Dance Group enthralled the students, parents, teachers and guests with a mesmerizing performance, during the concluding Expert Session.
The ever talented dancers set the stage ablaze with an incredible show, embodying our battle with the devastating coronavirus and paying tribute to the COVID Warriors for their selfless effort to curb the menace. Introducing the troupe par excellence, Founder and Mentor Dr. B.K.Sahoo shared that a group of ordinary people with extraordinary talent came together to create history and make Odisha proud, with their Ambition, Mission and Passion. Adding to that he said, the success of the dance group reflects perseverance, persistency, ambition, mission and overall hard work along with an indomitable spirit to succeed. Dr. Sahoo asked the students to make a choice, either to go with the swing and be forgotten or reach the top to create history and be remembered.
Dr.Sahoo took us down the memory lane and refreshed our memories of the visit of Prince Dance Group to SAI International School after winning the crown of India’s Got Talent back in the year 2009. He thanked the Group for coming forward to entertain us during this difficult time, which is the need of the hour, to distress ourselves.
Dr.Sahoo said that not many are born to lead but everyone has the option to learn to lead, and this e-Summer Camp gave an opportunity to the students to learn some vital new millennium skills that would enable them to adapt themselves seamlessly to the New Normal. He thanked the teachers, staff and edutech team for the success of the camp and said ‘challenges can make our life interesting and overcoming them will make it more meaningful. COVID 19 has given us an opportunity to reboot and redefine ourselves’. He added that, “every possible step has been taken to ensure that the children are actively and constructively engaged as well as enriched with the new millennium skills. I am glad that we were able to achieve our objective’.
