On 19 April 2025, the SAIoneers of Class V embarked on an exhilarating geographical expedition—all within the walls of their classroom. Armed with paper globe cut-outs and eager curiosity, students identified major latitude lines such as the Equator, the Tropics, and the Arctic and Antarctic Circles.
This immersive session wasn’t merely a mapping task—it was a voyage into understanding how these invisible lines influence climates, seasons, and even the very rhythm of our days. From the warmth of the Equator to the frosty poles, learners appreciated the geographical diversity our planet offers, while building strong conceptual knowledge of Earth’s spatial patterns.
With hands-on learning and storytelling at its heart, this activity proved that geography is anything but static—it’s an exploration of the world’s wonder, line by line.
