We are beyond elated to share that SAIoneer Tarun Tapan Bhuyan of Class X has been felicitated as the Runner-Up in the Limericks Competition organised by The New Indian Express during Eastern-India's largest fest, "Odisha Literary Festival" on September 24th, 2023 with an applaudable cash prize of Rs. 15,000 at Mayfair Convention. The fest was inaugurated by Union Education Minister, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. With the closing address given by Shri Naveen Patnaik, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha. Tarun was adjudged by a group of venerated jury chaired by Mr. Bibek Debroy, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister of India and researcher, Ms. Aparna Ray and poet, Dr. Hpraz Srivastava and awarded by TNIE Editorial Director Prabhu Chawla.

His limerick titled, "Dallas To Palace" was awarded for its humorous and light-hearted nature intertwined with its proficient take on the issues of boredom, solitude and weariness. The event also included engaging panels on the importance of Odishan literature and feminist Odia writers.
