12 September, 2024

The Interact Club of SAI International took a proactive step in promoting education and fostering reading habits with a visit to Unit-6 Girls' High School, Bhubaneswar. As part of a project to enhance library facilities, the club donated a bookshelf filled with books across subjects such as academics, general knowledge, and fiction. This initiative aimed to nurture a culture of reading, highlighting the transformative power of books in broadening perspectives. The effort is part of the Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo 100 Library Project, an ambitious mission launched by the Founder to establish 100 libraries in schools across the region, ensuring students have access to resources that empower and inspire lifelong learning.

The visit also included interactive discussions on important issues such as girl child safety, internet safety, food security, health and hygiene, sanitation, and career planning. Students engaged enthusiastically in these sessions, gaining valuable insights. The Interact Club's efforts not only equipped the school with resources but also inspired the students with knowledge for a brighter future.
