The Interact Club members of SAI International School visited Sahaya Old Age Home at Janla, Bhubaneswar, where they spent a deeply meaningful and enriching time with the inmates. The visit was marked by warmth, joy, and heartfelt interactions that beautifully reflected the spirit of empathy and service.

The inmates welcomed the students with great enthusiasm, presenting songs, dances, and bhajan kirtan, while also sharing invaluable life experiences and lessons. The students reciprocated with equal enthusiasm, participating in singing and dancing, creating a joyful atmosphere that culminated in a heart-touching moment where generations came together on the dance floor, united by smiles and shared happiness. As part of a donation drive, the students contributed ration items and winter wear for the inmates. They humbly expressed that while their contribution was small, the unwavering dedication, compassion, and selfless service of the ashram staff towards every inmate is truly immeasurable and serves as an inspiring example of service to mankind. This visit proved to be a powerful learning experience for the students, offering them insight into real-life challenges and the true essence of empathy, dignity, and social responsibility. The school shares these moments not for publicity, but to sensitise hearts and inspire collective responsibility towards those in need.
