Hon’ble CM inaugurates SAI Angan

In an extremely providential moment, SAI Angan, India’s largest playschool, was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik on Thursday, April 2, 2015. As he unveiled the playschool to the city of Bhubaneswar, Shri Naveen Patnaik expressed his immense happiness on witnessing the sprawling, beautiful and immaculate campus and congratulated the Founder and Chairman Dr Bijoy Kumar Sahoo for his extra ordinary vision. SAI Angan, an initiative of SAI International School is a new concept in learning and unfolds experiential learning through each of its classroom that is synonymous with all the elements of the best playschools of global standards. The playschool with a total area of 1, 50,000 square feet is India’s largest with a capacity of 1500 students in the age group of 2 to 7 years.

While addressing the gathering, Hon’ble Chief Minister said, “Bhubaneswar has become one of the most sought after destinations for education and I am pleased to see that the sector of early childhood education is also fast developing”. He also added, “The young learners are sure to enjoy this campus and it will add profoundly to their learning capacities as environmental stimulation plays a major role in developing a healthy brain. I am also very happy to see the precision in planning of this wonderland and I am satisfied with the safety, hygiene and infrastructural standards.”

Shri Naveen Patnaik also applauded the various highlights of the school like swimming pool, playstations, music, art, computer, dance labs, library, sandpit, amphitheatre and creche. In particular he complimented the idea of having ‘SAI International Express’, a toy train that moves around in the school during the school hours. “The multi- sensory approach that the school follows looks promising and caters to a wholesome development of the children which is in tandem with the philosophy of the school, which is to achieve a synchronized growth of body, mind and soul”, he added.
