SAI International School celebrated ‘Grandparent’s Day’ amidst much fun and gaiety on Saturday, September 23, 2917 on the theme ‘Floral Fantasy’. Bright colorful flowers filled the auditorium with exquisite fragrance and transformed it into a breath taking venue.

Enthusiastic grandparents put on their best effort to create magic with flowers, crafting amazing designs for the onlookers to feast their eyes on.

Ashok Bundela, a grandfather who came from Mumbai to be part of the celebration, shared that, ‘its so peaceful here, very neatly arranged, no chaos and even students seemed to be much disciplined.” Another grandmother, Rumpa Ghosh expressed that ‘the fragrance brings lots of joy. Doing something for your grandchild fills one with genuine pleasure.”

Addressing the gathering, Ms. Rashmi Pandey, Vice Principal, Primary said that, “we have a lot to learn from grandparents, who are the epitome of affection and adoration.” Every year the day is celebrated to salute the spirit of grand parenting, whose selfless love provide some of the fondest and earliest memories for a child.
