On June 5, 2020, day 5 of the eSummer Camp, energies of each of the SAIoneer from SAI Angan, SAI International School and SAI International Residential School is flying high with the activities lined up, aligned with the 21st century skill and the new normal. The Personality Development Expert Session of SAI International marked the presence of an eminent celebrity guest Ms Sabira Merchant theOfficial Miss India Trainer and Leading Grooming and Etiquette Leader to share her experiences and insights with the SAIoneers.
Ms Merchant addressed sessions on Communication Skills and Fine Dinning. In the communication skill session she stressed that nothing can happen without communication and hence she laid down points to enhance the skill such as clarity of speech, speed of speaking, volume of voice, enunciation, pronunciation, emphasis, body language, eye contact, grammar, on developing reading habit, use of article, avoiding fillers while speaking, adding humour while speaking, smiling, projection and be confident while speaking.
While addressing to a question of a SAIoneer how to behave when his food is over while the others may still be eating, she made him understand the behavioural skills too. She thanked Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo Founder SAI International, to have organised such an outstanding programme not just for the children but also for the parents.
It was a great learning for the students and all the people watching the session. Speech diction and proper body language speaks volumes about a person.
