Empowering Educators: Insights from the Global Mentorship Program with John Snell

by SAI Admin

26 March, 2025

On 25 March 2025, Class I educators embarked on the second day of the Teachers' Development Program, guided by the distinguished Mr. John Snell as part of the ongoing Global Mentorship Program. The session provided a deep dive into Kolb’s Theory of Experiential Learning, exploring its challenges and advantages through practical, real-world applications. A key focus was fostering five critical future skills in students, with teachers collaboratively crafting innovative strategies to integrate these competencies into their classrooms.

Mr. Snell introduced the PPPB technique (Pose, Pause, Pounce, Bounce)—a dynamic approach aimed at enhancing student engagement and critical thinking. Teachers found the technique transformative, with one educator noting, “The PPPB method will help us shift from passive learning to active student-led discussions.” Another teacher reflected, “Understanding experiential learning from a practical lens has reshaped how I approach my lessons.”

By blending theory with practice, the workshop empowered educators to rethink conventional teaching methods, fostering creativity, adaptability, and a mindset of continuous learning.
