SAIoneers of Grade VIII recently embarked on an enriching educational trip to the Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC), Bhubaneswar. Known for its excellence in precision manufacturing and technical training, CTTC serves as a key support system to premier organisations such as ISRO, DRDO, and the Tata Group.
During the visit, students explored various manufacturing units and witnessed firsthand the operation of advanced machinery used in the production of aerospace parts and complex machine components. They gained valuable exposure to modern engineering techniques and technological processes, sparking their interest in innovation and industrial applications.
The guided tour allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-world practices. It encouraged critical thinking and gave them a deeper understanding of how technology shapes industries and supports national growth.
Such experiential learning opportunities play a vital role in developing future-ready learners. This visit not only enriched students’ technical knowledge but also broadened their career perspectives in the science, technology, and engineering fields.
The trip proved to be a memorable and inspiring experience that truly embodied the spirit of learning beyond the classroom.
