SAI International triggered the most awaited and loved event of the year the e-Summer Fiesta Season 2 with a gamut of activities and expert sessions on Monday, June 1, 2021. The day was divided into two segments one for multifarious activities ranging from dance to drama to storytelling to puppetry, from robotics and coding to magical science and the other as the evening expert session.
The puppetry resource wonderfully delivered a story through her puppets to the tiny tots of Playgroup and Nursery. In the melody times the tiny tots were drenched with the rhythm of melody, beautifully unfolding for the delight of all. While in the textured art session conducted, the students learnt a new art form known as Textured Art having some tricky techniques. Delighted students learnt to make cards using A-4 size paper, watercolor and tissue paper. In the Finger licking good session for the Class II learnt fireless eggless recipes for the summer by the resource person. Zumba is a wonderful workout and the little ones of Class KG I enjoyed learning it. The SAIoneers of Class IX had a stupendous session with a science expert on understanding the Science of Magic. He introduced the fine nuances of magic by speaking about Focus on MAGIC-Everywhere in Magic there is Science.
SAIoneers of Class V, had an interesting session with the Robotics resource person who conducted an highly interactive session discussing at length on the differences between Robots and Robotics. While in the Beauty and Bounty session for Class XI SAIoneers learnt about hair care and some easy makeup tips. In the photo editing session the SAIoneers learnt about the types of lenses and much more
The evening session was highly spiritual and devotional. The music, dance and drama teacher came together to put this act of devotion and drenched the audience in the ocean of divinity and belief in the almighty. The highly trained teachers of SAI International School and SAI International Residential School put up a remarkable performance for their SAIoneers.
e-Summer Fiesta is a vision of the Founder SAI International Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo for the 360 degree personality grooming of the children during the summer break. The Summer Fiesta has been divided into two parts, Morning and Evening sessions. In the morning session the students indulge in various activities and soft skill training sessions like puppetry, storytelling, robotics, gymnastics, dance, coding, gymnastics, communication design, personal care and hygiene, music, drama and much more. The evening sessions are designed for the students, parents and the teachers of SAI International to not only enhance their 21st century skills but also provide them with much-needed respite from a monotonous schedule, with the endeavor to ensure that the learning process is continuous and one that leaves a lasting impression.
“It is our earnest endeavors to give the best possible learning infrastructure to our SAIoneers. Children need to be made future ready and armed with a new set of life skills which focuses primarily on developing the spirit to fight against adversities, strengthening resilience, building confidence, understanding and self-introspection”, said Dr Sahoo at the launch of the e-Summer Fiesta.
