Ankita Sahoo of Class IX who represented the Country in the Western Asia Youth and Junior Chess Championship 2019 won the 6th place in the Merit List. She scored a total of 5 points of possible nine rounds. The Championship was held in New Delhi from September 6 to 10, 2019. The prestigious event was participated by 377 players from ten Asian Zone. It had 16 different age categories and played under Standard, Rapid and Blitz format.
