CEO MUMBAI DABBAWALA AT SAI INTERNATIONAL E-SUMMER CAMP

Dr. Pawan G. Agrawal, CEO, Mumbai Dabbawala addressed the students, teachers and parents of SAI International during the evening Motivational Expert Session on Saturday, June 6, 2020. Dr. Agrawal shared about his success journey from a remote village in Dhule district to become the CEO of the famed 130 year old Dabbawalas and an International Motivational Speaker.

Speaking about the importance of passion, commitment, consistency, accuracy, dedication, time management, he said that one may have excellent knowledge but if his work is not completed on time, the knowledge becomes useless. Sharing a few examples about the Dabbawalas, he said that there is no alternative to hard work, and one needs to change their thoughts and destiny will follow.

He urged the students to develop an interest for knowledge and not run after marks, as one’s career depends on his or her collective interest. He asked them to focus on their aims and not let any kind of distractions or bad habits hinder their journey towards achieving the goals. He stressed that excuses are made by those who do not want to put any effort.

Speaking about the ongoing pandemic, Dr. Agrawal said that Indians know how to adapt themselves to any kind of diverse situation and asked the students to inculcate good practices, follow a fixed routine, develop team spirit, try to be as self sufficient as possible and be honest in their effort, and look forward to a future which is full of opportunities. He said there is a lockdown everywhere but our doors to acquiring knowledge are always

open.

Dr. Agrawal recalled some memorable moments spent at SAI International School a few years back. He appreciated Founder and Mentor Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo for his dedication and passion for enhancing the education sector. He also lauded the School’s effort in conducting such an innovative e-Summer Camp and invite eminent speakers to inspire students and parents, even during this catastrophic time.
