On September 11, 2024, SAI International School hosted an impressive Business Model Competition as part of the Founder's Memorial Series, with the theme "India 2050: Hub of Innovation." This year, the Commerce students from Classes XI and XII presented projects that envisioned India's future through creative and practical solutions.
Notable projects included "Coraliss," a visionary initiative aimed at eco-friendly luxury retreats; "Escape to Serenity: Your Eco-Friendly Retreat Awaits," which proposes sustainable tourism solutions; and an innovative waste sorting bin designed to enhance recycling efficiency. Other standout presentations included a comprehensive diabetes management system and "Fragrance Craft," a unique business model for personalized scents. Additionally, "NewsVerse," an AI-generated app, showcased cutting-edge technology in news delivery.
The competition was judged by esteemed experts, Dr. Madhusmita Dash, Assistant Professor at the School of Humanities, Social Science & Management, IIT Bhubaneswar, and Dr. Jiwan Jhunjhunwala, Lecturer in Commerce at Christ College. Their insights and feedback highlighted the creativity and strategic thinking of the students, contributing to a dynamic exploration of future business possibilities.
