Bridging Cultures: Global Village at SAIMUN 2024

The Mahatma Gandhi Atrium was abuzz with vibrant cultural exchanges as SAIMUN 2024 hosted its much-anticipated Global Village event. The assembly began with a formal introduction of the international delegates and school faculty advisors, setting the stage for an evening of cultural celebration and global camaraderie.

The event featured captivating cultural presentations from a diverse array of participants. Delegates from Gombe School in Uganda delighted the audience with a showcase of their indigenous cultures, followed by an enchanting performance from Sri Lankan cultural representatives. The Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (AIESEC) also contributed with a unique cultural presentation, adding to the rich tapestry of the evening. The Going Global students further enhanced the experience with a dynamic cultural tableau, reflecting the spirit of international unity.

The Global Village welcomed delegates from Syria, Libya, Côte d'Ivoire, Nepal, Bangladesh, South Sudan, UAE, Malawi, Qatar, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Thailand, and Zambia, each adding their own distinct flavors to the celebration. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks presented by the Head of Global Dimension at SAI International Education Group, acknowledging the contributions of all participants and celebrating the success of this cross-cultural exchange.
