June 2, 2020 marked the day 2 of the first of its kind e-Summer Camp, to help children cope with the current pandemic situation. To keep children engaged through constructive learning activities, SAI International has launched online Summer Camp “e-Summer Camp” for its students. Children from Play Group to Class XII of SAI International School, SAI Angan and SAI International Residential School participated with great enthusiasm in a wide array of fun-filled activities, on the second day of the camp.
A gamut of interesting learning activities was lined up for the students in the e-Summer Camp. Students from Play School to Class XII were enrolled in the various sessions from drawing, painting to robotics, all aiming to inculcate creativity, curiosity and communication skills in the children and make them 21st century with the new normal.
SAIoneers were lucky enough to interact with the superhit Bollywood singer Shri Krishna Beura who has given hits like Maula mere, Zindagi mein kabhi koi aye na rabba, Musafir and the list is endless. He interacted with the students and answered to their questions on career, guru shishya parampara and much more. The evening entertaining expert session was highly interesting and inspiring for the children as they got to know how Shri Beura struggled through his initial days and with the blessing of Shri Sai whom he considers as his Guru. He believes that every person should have a Guru who can show the real path to walk on. A guru can be anybody you believe in, can be your mother who gives birth to you and had shown you the right and the wrongs.
Students had a great learning experience on day 2 of the eSummer Camp, which aims to sharpen their 21st century skills and augment their creative minds, as well as boost their morale.
Founder and Mentor, SAI International, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo said that learning can never stop even if the building is closed; we have ensured that the students keep learning, growing and getting wise. The journey has just begun and a lot is there to be unfolded.
