A Day of Discovery: Students Immerse Themselves in Cutting-Edge Research

On August 14, 2024, a group of students embarked on an enlightening journey, exploring various laboratories and gaining insight into groundbreaking scientific research. Their first stop was the photocatalysis lab, where they discovered a unique mixture that purifies groundwater by separating dyes, contributing to river restoration efforts.

The students were then introduced to the GC-MS machine, a fascinating tool that sparked their interest. Next, they visited the DNA Nanotechnology Lab, where they delved into the world of DNA strands and their revolutionary applications.

At the Animal Cell Culture Lab, they observed a specialized compartment designed for animal cell preservation. The students also spent time at Dr. BK Jaina Nanotechnology Lab, learning about water electrolysis and various capacitor types.

A highlight of their visit was attending a conference where scientists presented their research papers, providing the students with a unique opportunity to learn from experts in their fields. Finally, they visited the Jijyansa Exhibition, where they learned about the advanced technology behind aerospace device manufacturing from a presenter at HAL Koraput.
