The closing ceremony of the 8th SAI Olympics, a stand-out event of the annual flagship calendars of SAI, was conducted on December 23, 2022 at the grand stadium of SAI International Residential School, based on the theme Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.The 3-day annual sports meet was a massive success, witnessing the excellent performances in sports with great splendour & resplendence.
Various sporting events such as 100m flat race & 400m relays by boys & girls, were conducted on Day3 of the annual sports meet at the SIRS Sports Stadium, with stands packed with eager fans & parents who had come to show their support for the students.
The National & Zonal Champions of the CBSE Clusters in swimming, skating, chess, accompanied by the qualifiers of Olympic Champion Awards were felicitated in the closing ceremony followed by impactful drills & marches, depicting the meteoric escalation of our glorious nation spanning over the past 75 years to reinforce the theme of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
With sports, comes discipline and dexterity, believed Late Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, Founder-Chairman, SAI International Education Group & conceptualized SAI Olympics to encourage his students to participate in national & international sporting events & take Orissa to higher levels, not just in academics but also in sports & strengthen Odisha to Build a Better India Through a 360 approach of Education.
