Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to imagination and life to everything. Music has super healing powers that work on each and every one of us. Our heart copies the beats of music. The true beauty of music is that it has a calming effect on the subconscious human mind. It is the strongest form of magic. It has many benefits according to the scientists too.J Not only humans but also the plants are benefited by music. When I talk about myself, music is life for me. When I listen to music, I forget all my sorrows, at least for that time. I am lost in another world, the melodious world of music. This melodious world is full of joy and happiness. After listening to music, I feel like a Diva. In student life, music helps to increase concentration. Classical music might be a good choice as it calms the nerves and soothes us. Who can ever forget the immortal lines of the queen of music, Lata Mangeshkar. Some forty-five years back, in front of a packed audience and the high and the mighty ,when she sang —“Ae mere watan ke logon, Zara aankh mein bhar lo paani, Jo shahheed huye hai unki , Zara yaad karo kurbani.”
The teeming millions, including Pandit Nehru were moved to tears. The song still resonates across the globe. Strikes a chord, deep down the inner recesses of our hearts and takes us down the memory lane. Music has the ability to cure things that medicines can’t . Music has had a soothing effect on all beings. It helps one blossom. Music has charms to soothe the savage beast, to soften rocks or bend a knitted oak.
Our hearts which is so full to overflowing has often been solaced refreshed by music when sick and weary. Music is the best way to express our feelings. Music is the only language which cannot say a mean or sarcastic thing.
