A Webinar on the topic ‘Voice your thoughts using Flip Grid & Teams’, was conducted by Microsoft for the students of Class XI on Friday, September 6, 2019. Students learnt how to use Microsoft flip grids to discuss on various topics. The grids are the meeting place for any classroom, any school, any department or any learning community.
Students got an understanding on how to add weekly reflections, share book talks, explore STEM principles as well as give mini-presentations. They were happy to know that they can design their own web page using flip grids, can pause and flip their camera while recording, add photos and videos, trim unlimited clips and edit video styles, text, add emoji, do the inking and also create impactful stories through this cool tool of Microsoft.
A Webinar was also conducted for the Computer teachers on the topic ‘Gamifying Classroom with Minecraft EE, Kahoot and more. Teacher learnt about Minecraft, a game-based learning platform with standards-aligned content across K12 subjects and special features designed for classroom use. Minecraft is a highly creative and flexible application that is well suited to classroom adoption. It helps in creating projects and new games building scenarios making it more interactive.
