On July 23, 2025, the students of Classes IX and X at SAI International School came together with solemn pride to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas, a day that honours the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil War of 1999. The morning assembly was not just a tribute—it was a powerful reflection of patriotism, unity, and gratitude.

The event began with a soulful prayer, followed by the thought for the day and news headlines, setting a tone of reverence and national pride. Students then delivered a moving speech that paid homage to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives to protect our nation’s sovereignty. Their words resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the incredible determination and spirit of our armed forces.

The most poignant moment of the assembly was an emotional skit, performed by the students, that portrayed the stories of our war heroes—both those who returned with victory and those who became immortal in sacrifice. The performance was met with silent reflection and heartfelt applause, as it vividly brought to life the themes of bravery, sacrifice, and duty.

The entire assembly echoed with the spirit of resilience and love for the motherland. It served as a powerful reminder of the cost of freedom and the importance of carrying forward the values that our heroes stood for—courage, unity, and selfless service to the nation.
