GLOBAL IMMERSION PROGRAMME TO SINGAPORE – SHINE IN SINGAPORE

by SAI Admin

19 October, 2018

The students and teachers of SAI International on a trip to Singapore for the Global Immersion Programme (GIP) started their day with a visit to Sentosa Island, a man-made island built for fun and recreation.

They had a wonderful time visiting the huge aquarium that is home to more than 800 species of marine life including sharks. Students got an opportunity to explore the aquarium’s various habitats that mimic underwater life for hundreds of fish, mammals and marine plants in different areas of the planet, from the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea to the South China Sea.

It was followed by a visit to the world’s most famous wax attraction, Madam Tussauds. Students clicked photographs with life size replicas of famous personalities from all walks of life.

The exciting Cable Car Ride gave them a great view of the Island Country. They also got to watch a short movie ‘The Wings of Time’ screened on the Sentosa beach depicting the progress of man over the ages. It was a spectacular display of water, lights, music and fire and as such the most outstanding spectacle of the day. Finally, the team had a quick dinner at Vivo Mall before retiring for the day.
