The weekly SAI Career Talk continued with Shri Azahar Ali, Manager, Higher Education and Society, British Council, East India who spoke on the topic “Study in UK” on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Speaking to the students from Classes X to XII, from SAI International School and from Classes X and XI from SAI International Residential School, Mr.Ali briefed on how to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the UK, about UCAS portal and how to select a course. He also guided the students on the IELTS exam, graduation immigration route, scholarships offered and the right way to submit an online application. It was followed by an interactive session.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, Ms. Lalchhanhimi Purkayastha, Regional Manager, Ashoka University, India and Prof. Ramachandran, Vice Dean, Jindal School of Banking and Finance, O.P. Jindal Global University, delivered the SAI Career Talk. Students were briefed about undergraduate courses offered by the Indian Universities as well as on emerging
technology and opportunities available. They were also guided on how learning happens by volunteering and participating in leadership activities.

Ms. Shraddha Singaurey, Recruitment Adviser-India, Office of International Programs, Wayne State University (WSU), delivered the SAI Career Talk on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She guided the students on how to write a recommendation request, choose a recommender, prepare a resume and statement of purpose. She also briefed the students on opportunities abroad. Speaking about WSU, Ms.Singaurey said that the inclusive University is a hub of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She explained about the scholarships facilities at WSU and gave the placement statistics of their alumni.

The SAI Career Talk is held every week to guide the students on various career opportunities in India and abroad and also the right way to choose their own career. Eminent educationists or leaders in the field of education are invited to interact with the students and advise them on present career paths, process of application to various universities, building an appealing resume and many more.
