CAREER SESSION @ SAI

SAI International School has initiated an online programme for the development of student’s potential careers. The programme aims to guide and empower students from Classes X to XII in making informed and responsible choices on learning, occupations, career goals and other aspects of life. It introduces students to resources and skills necessary for a successful job in the future as well as aid them in managing and adapting to the transition from High School to University seamlessly.

The programme commenced on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 with a session with Shri Srimoy Mitra, Founder, East Prep, who spoke on the  the topic, ‘SAT, International Education and Admissions in International Universities post COVID 19’. He briefed the students about higher education opportunities in the US and advised them to have a thorough background check before joining any institute of higher education. He also informed them about the SAT classes which will commence shortly.

Shri Sandeep Saraswal, Manager College Board, Outreach – South Asia, delivered the Career Talk on the topic, ‘Role of SAT and AP in Undergraduate Admissions’. During the virtual interaction on Wednesday, June 10, 2020, with students from Classes XI and XII, he presented on excellent practice for SAT and other competitive exams. He gave an overview of SAT – University Entrance Test used worldwide, including the test and registration dates. Shri Saraswal also briefed about AP exams, benefits of AP course, College credit and placement open for world options.

The career sessions help students to know the pros and cons of the different streams, courses and educational options, enabling them to make an informed choice.
