A Webinar on Computer Science was held for students of Class XI on Friday, November 30, 2018. Univariety Counsellor Ms. Saumya conducted it on the topic ‘All for a Well-Programmed Career in Computer Science’.

She spoke about the various career options in Computer Science and said that in recent times there is greater demand for the field especially in creative areas. She detailed on the rising demand for artificial intelligence in diverse range of industries such as machine learning, robotics etc. She also spoke about how Data science is vital, using large resource, prediction about health, disease, various level courses and how Virtual Reality and Augment Reality, another computer science field helps in game design, architecture, set design etc.

Ms. Saumya elaborated on what Virtual Reality and Augment Reality exactly is with various examples like Augment Reality is where cricket match is shown on various corners that Statistics being shown when a ball is bowled. Process in graphics and visual combination requires lot of detailing, which is done through Computer Science.

Cyber Forensics is another upcoming field where computer graduates will be in much demand. Companies will always look for developers and engineers for Python, Java, C++ both for backend development of the website and front end Engineers.
