“Play is the highest form of research.” — Albert Einstein
Halloween at SAI International School was more than costumes and candy; it was a vibrant celebration of imagination, inquiry, and hands-on learning! Across our lively club activities, students immersed themselves in the festive spirit, exploring different dimensions of this mystical tradition while sharpening essential skills.
Our young writers buzzed with excitement as they crafted spooky stories filled with suspense, creativity, and mystery. Alongside their thrilling narratives, they also uncovered the fascinating historical roots of Halloween, deepening their appreciation for this centuries-old festival.
Over at the Debate Club, laughter echoed as students took on witty and whimsical topics like “Dracula Needs Anger Management” and “Monsters Should Go to Therapy!” With sharp reasoning and humorous flair, they turned monster myths into thought-provoking discussions — proving that critical thinking can be frightfully fun!
Meanwhile, our budding artists embraced the magic of the season by designing imaginative masks and getting their faces painted into joyful pumpkins, whimsical witches, and friendly ghosts. The room glowed with colour, sparkle, and creativity as students brought their festive visions to life.
In a delightful blend of math and craft, students also constructed witch hats using cones and circles and carved Fractional Pumpkins, exploring shapes and parts in an interactive and engaging Halloween-themed workshop. Who knew geometry could be this spell-binding?
From giggles to ghost tales, paintbrushes to persuasive arguments, this special celebration showcased the power of learning through play, teamwork, and imagination. Watching our students explore, experiment, and enjoy every moment was truly heartwarming.
Here’s to a Halloween filled with creativity, curiosity, and happy learning — where every activity lit up young minds and sparked pure festive joy!
