100 Libraries Project: Visit to Govt. Boys High School, Unit-8

by SAI Admin

13 August, 2025

As part of the 100 Libraries Project initiated by our Founder, Late Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo, our team, along with the Interact Club members, visited Govt. Boys High School, Unit-8.

While the school is traditionally a boys’ high school, it also has girl students, all of whom participated in the programme with remarkable enthusiasm. To support and inspire the reading culture among students, we donated books and an almirah to strengthen their library resources. This initiative aims to provide a lasting treasure of knowledge, encouraging students to cultivate a lifelong love for books.

The Interact Club members conducted a series of interactive and awareness sessions covering the importance of reading, internet safety, food safety & security, and career guidance. These thought-provoking discussions motivated the students to set high aspirations and commit themselves to achieving their dreams with dedication and discipline.

The visit was a meaningful step towards empowering young learners and continuing Dr. Sahoo’s vision of spreading knowledge through 100 libraries across communities.
